Ruma Abedona Hospice Kolkata - Visit by the President
The President of the Ruma Australia Foundation, Joan Grosser, and her husband Bill visited the parish on the 7th September and reported on the growth of the Ruma Hospice facilities. Further, the presence of Santanu and his team has inspired a growing take-up of palliative care of the terminally ill across West Bengal but further across the width of India. The financial assistance for the Grosser\'s via the Mango sales has been over a million dollars in the past ten years. The current mango crop looks bountiful in Kununurra and available in late October. We hope for a repeat of the past generous support for the year\'s sales.
